Iran well appreciated film ‘Standing In the Dust’ turns into miniseries

Miniseries on much-celebrated Iranian film ‘Standing In the Dust’ by Mohammad Hossein Mahdavian has gone into production.

The new project based on the original version of the film is set to air by one of Iranian TV channels soon.

‘Standing in the Dust’ is a biopic on Iranian army commander Ahmad Motevasselian who was kidnapped in Lebanon by the Tel Aviv regime in 1982.

The movie produced by Habib Vaalinejad picked up the Crystal Simorgh for Best Film at the 34th Fajr Film Festival.

The war-themed film has been well-appreciated by a wide range of national as well as international audience.
